September 13, 2019 - Deal Lands Top 10 Finish in Tiny Lund Memorial Opener at Shelby County
On Friday night Nick Deal traveled to Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) returning to the Modified ranks for the opening night of the Tiny Lund Memorial. Passing five cars in his heat, Deal scored a runner-up finish behind Josh Cooper which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Gaining two spots in the 20-lap affair, Nick scored a 9th place finish.

September 7, 2019 - Nick Deal Attends IMCA Super Nationals at Boone Speedway
Wednesday night saw Nick Deal return to action at Boone Speedway (Boone, Iowa) kicking off the IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s General Stores. Improving four spots in his heat, Deal recorded a 4th place finish sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. He went on to retire early from the 8-lap consolation event.

The following night, Nick locked his spot into the A-Main with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Braxton Yeager. Gaining five positions in the 25-lap feature, Deal posted a 17th place outing.

For the third round on Friday, Nick followed up a heat race victory with a 6th place finish in the A-Main.

On Saturday evening wrapping up the IMCA Super Nationals, Deal came in 2nd in his heat behind Ryan McDaniel sending him into the B-Main for one final shot at the $5,800-to-win finale. Improving one spot in the 12-lap affair, Nick recorded an 8th place finish.

August 17, 2019 - Top 5 Finish at Shelby County Speedway
Nick Deal returned to the Open Wheel Modified ranks on Saturday evening at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa). After starting the night off with a 8-lap heat race victory, Deal passed five cars in the feature reeling in a 4th place finish behind Jeff James, Craig Reetz, and Jeff Stephens with Jeff Jones coming in 5th.

August 10, 2019 - Nick Deal Tops Modified Field at Shelby County Speedway
1On Saturday night Nick Deal traveled to Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) behind the wheel of the Shepherd Engine Development No. 55 Open Wheel Modified. Holding his spot in his heat, Deal recorded a 4th place finish which positioned him 5th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Wheeling his way to the front, Nick soared to his fifth win of the season over Jeff Jones, Craig Reetz, Travis Hatcher, and Trey Kline.

July 26, 2019 - Blown Motor Ends Deal's Chance at MBSLMRS Title
Friday night saw Nick Deal invade Crawford County Speedway (Denison, Iowa) following the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series. With 24 cars registered in for battle, Deal recorded a 9th place finish in his heat before suffering a blown motor that ended his night early. He was credited with a 24th place finish. With the unfortunate circumstances, the team decided to hop off the SLMRS and reevaluate the upcoming schedule.

July 20, 2019 - Deal Lands Top 10 Finish in Silver Dollar Nationals Opener at I-80
1On Thursday night Nick Deal returned to action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) following the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series for the Prelude to the Silver Dollar Nationals. In a field of 38 cars, Deal posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Tad Pospisil locking his spot into the $5,300-to-win A-Main. The following night competing in a field of 49 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries for the ninth annual Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals, Nick recorded a pair of 4th place finishes in his heat races transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday evening for another shot at the $53,000-to-win finale.  Coming one spot shy of a transfer spot with a 5th place finish, Deal earned the Miller Welders passing points provisional into the show. Rolling off 28th, Nick Deal was an early retiree from the 80-lap due to distributer issues.

July 13, 2019 - Pair of Podium Finishes in Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series Weekend
After battling the handle on his hot rod the past few weeks, Nick Deal was able to regain his momentum over the weekend. He drove his Nebraska-Iowa Supply Company No. 55D Monster Graphix/ Black Diamond Race Car/ Shepherd Engine Development Late Model to a pair of podium finishes in Malvern Bank Super Late Model Racing Series (SLMRS) competition.

“For a few weeks we’ve been struggling, but before this past week’s races we went through the car and found a few issues. Our car was much in both events, and I’m confident that we’ve got things pointed back in the right direction,” Deal said. “We had two strong race nights, and now we are gearing up for what will be our biggest weekend of the year at the Silver Dollar Nationals.”

Wednesday night found Nick competing with the SLMRS at Boone County Raceway (Albion, Nebraska). A second-place finish in his heat race, positioned Deal third on the starting grid for the feature. He went on to advance to a third-place finish behind Tad Pospisil and Kyle Berck.

On Saturday night SLMRS action brought Nick Deal Racing to their home track, Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa). After struggling in both time trials and heat race action, Nick started eight in the 25-lap, $2,000-to-win feature. The team made adjustments for the feature, which allowed Deal to surge through the field to a runner-up performance behind race winner, Josh Leonard..

Nick currently leads the SLMRS Rookie of the Year battle and is second in the overall series standings, just eight markers out of the top spot.

July 6, 2019 - Nick Deal Lands 7th Place Finish at Adams County Speedway
Nick Deal was one of 27 Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series entries on hand at U.S. 30 Speedway (Columbus, Nebraska) on Thursday night for the Stars and Stripes Shootout. Jumping up one spot in his heat, Deal scored a 3rd place finish locking his spot into the opening night feature. With $2,000 on the line, Nick fell three spots to place 12th.

June 29, 2019 - Top 5 Finish in Malvern Bank Stop at Junction Motor Speedway
On Saturday night Nick Deal followed the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series to Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, Nebraska) for the $2,000 top prize. In a field of 26 cars, Deal grabbed the 5th and final transfer spot in his heat which positioned him 8th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Passing three cars, Nick reeled in a 5th place finish behind Tad Pospisil, Kyle Berck, Bill Leighton, and Ben Schaller.

June 5, 2019 - 7th Place Finish in Malvern Bank action at Stuart Speedway
Wednesday night found Nick Deal in action at Stuart Speedway (Stuart, Iowa) for the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series sanctioned program. With 28 cars on hand, Deal secured his spot into the $2,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jason O’Brien. Starting the feature in 7th, Deal held his spot for all 25-laps to place 7th.

June 1, 2019 - Deal Records Fourth Win of the Season at Off Road Speedway

The fourth visit of the year to the winner’s circle was worth $2,000 and came with the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Racing Series (SLMRS).

“It wasn’t the best start to the night for our team, and honestly even the beginning of the feature wasn’t that great. However, as the race went along our car kept getting better and better and we got to the front,” Deal commented. “We’re learning something new every time that we hit the track with the Late Model. Overall though, I couldn’t be more proud of how our team has performed in its first year in the division.”

After a pair of rainouts, Nick Deal was finally able to return to competition the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) on Friday evening. In a field of 39 cars, Deal registered the fastest lap overall in time trials before posting an 8-lap heat race victory. Starting the $4,000-to-win feature in the second position, Nick battled at the front of the pack throughout the 40 lapper before ultimately recording a runner-up finish behind Tyler Bruening with Bill Leighton, Tad Pospisil, and Ben Schaller rounding out the Top-5.

The following night at Off Road Speedway (Norfolk, Nebraska), Nick recorded a third-place finish in his heat race, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the A-Main.

He progressively worked his way forward in the field to take the lead. Holding off a late-race charge from third-starting Ben Schaller, Deal streaked to his fourth win of the season in the 25-lap feature. He was followed across the stripe by Schaller, Andrew Kosiski, Gary Brown Jr., and Bill Leighton. He earned a $2,000 payday for his triumph.

With his weekend performances Nick has taken over the lead in both the Malvern Bank SLMRS Rookie of the Year battle and the overall standings.

May 14, 2019 - Nick Deal Launches New Cyber Home
127-year-old Nick Deal is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia team. The Walnut, Iowa competitor has launched a brand-new cyber home at www.NickDealRacing.com.

Thus far into the 2019 campaign, Nick Deal has already amassed a trio of victories in his Nebraska-Iowa Supply Company No. 55D Monster Graphix/ Black Diamond Race Car. All three triumphs have come with the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Racing Series (SLMRS). Nick is currently tied for the top spot in the SLMRS Rookie of the Year battle and is second in the overall series standings, just four points removed from the lead.
